Bodega Kuhlmann was officially founded by Mr. Franz Kuhlmann in 1930 on a farm called ''Vivicha'' in Camargo and then expanded his vine plantations to the city of Tarija.

With a vision characteristic of pioneers, in the 1950s Franz Kuhlmann began the modernization of harvesting and distillation processes, embarking on an adventure full of challenges until turning the winery into the most modern in the country.

Committed to the environment, this winery-distillery has its own treatment plant. All waste generated in the production processes is treated under rigorous procedures, converting them into fertilizers to be used in their vineyards.
