Wildmakers, founded by Luca Hodgkinson and José Miguel Sotomayor, is built around a simple idea: let the grape and its origin speak for themselves.

Working with distinctive vineyards in Itata and Maule, they seek out traditional varieties and remarkable old vines, including century-old, ungrafted vineyards that reveal a less familiar side of Chilean wine.

Their approach combines technical precision with minimal intervention. Fermentations are spontaneous with native yeasts, unnecessary additives are avoided, sulphur is kept low, and the vineyards they work with are farmed without synthetic pesticides or herbicides.

The result is a collection of pure, expressive and characterful wines, shaped by their vineyards rather than by a predetermined style.
