Best of Class Specialty Distilled Spirits 2021 FLIWC

The porcentage of distilled wine made from centenary vines, provides an extra layer of complexity to an already highly aromatic spirit, very intense citrus and floral aromas with a touch of minerality and salinity, showcasing the best carachteristics of the Muscat of Alexandria as well as the quality of the water sourced from mountain springs around the valley.

Yokich
Bodega Yokich is a fifth-generation family winery nestled in the Cinti Valley in Southern Bolivia at 2,450 meters above sea level, one of the highest vineyards in the world.
It was founded by Natalio Yokich, a Croatian wine and spirits maker who emigrated to Bolivia in the 19th century.
The family purchased the Quiskapampa winery, an estate which dates from 1700, when it was built by members of the Jesuit order.
The Yokich and Mendoza families intermarried and together pioneered the distillation of Bolivian’s famous drink Singani, using Moscatel de Alejandría grapes, and producing premium wines from local and international varieties. Today the winery is run by descendants of the original founders.
