In the 1500s, the first vines crossed the ocean from Spain to the New World where they adapted, transformed, and evolved into something entirely their own. This is the origin of the Criolla family — grapes that became “native born”, and became the true voice of the American terroir.

Two ancient varieties were their ancestors: Muscat of Alexandria and Listán Prieto (known today as Negra Criolla, Misionera or País). Their natural crossings gave birth to many grapes unique to the Americas, many still unclassified but deeply rooted in local culture.

The Criolla Collective box captures this story in six expressive wines that embody the blend of cultures that shaped Latin America.

What’s Inside – 6 unique wines from Bolivia & Chile

1. Molle Pampa – Negra Criolla by Jardin Oculto (Cinti Valley, Bolivia)

Crafted with a gentle, minimal-intervention approach that highlights the purity of the fruit and the character of the historic Cinti Valley, this wine opens with delicate aromas of strawberry and pink pepper. On the palate, vibrant notes of raspberry, eucalyptus, and fresh strawberry stand out, offering both freshness and a subtle herbal lift. Medium tannins and medium body give it a balanced, graceful profile. A lively and honest expression of Negra Criolla from the historic Cinti Valley.

2. Seres del Alba – Vischoqueña & Imporeña by Jardin Oculto  and Pepe Moquillaza (Cinti Valley, Bolivia)

The rarest of them all. With unbelievable aromas of rosewood, chamomile, and fresh peach kernel. On the palate, the wine is light and characterised by lively acidity. This wine was kept for 60 days in beeswax coated amphorae and made from grapes you have never heard of before.

3. País de Comavida – País by Wildmakers (Maule Valley, Chile)

Crafted with minimal intervention and deep respect for the land from 120-year-old vines. This wine balances rustic charm with vibrant acidity. Naturally fermented with native yeasts and aged in clay amphorae, it offers purity, finesse, and a connection to Chile’s oldest winemaking traditions.

4. Moscatel de Alejandría by Jardin Oculto (Cinti Valley, Bolivia)

An amazing, medium-bodied Moscatel that expresses the floral and citrus aromas of the grape variety, orange blossom, orange peel with lemon notes, as well as honey, peach, and fresh herbs. Great mineral character and creaminess, deep aromas, and an elegant finish.

5. Vischoqueña Blanc de Noir by Jardin Oculto (Cinti Valley, Bolivia)

In this Blanc de Noir style, it reveals citrus and grapefruit aromas, fresh acidity and minerality — a singular wine that embodies the biodiversity and innovation of Bolivian viticulture.

6. Brisas Orange – Muscat of Alexandria by Wildmakers (Itata, Chile)

A bold, modern expression of the Muscat lineage. This skin-contact orange wine, delivers deeper structure, spice, citrus-peel and tea-like tannins — a creative spin on an ancient grape, bridging tradition and contemporary taste.
